During the retreat an Ayurveda wellness workshop will take place to help create optimal health and wellness.
Ayurveda is an ancient Indian medical science, that takes in the wholeness of an individual and provides a solid foundation from which to live a healthy and full life.
The foundations are based on principles of nature, cyclical living and the elements. From these principles are also the solutions. Everything in the universe is made up of unique structures of energy and by understanding that, we can bring total harmony to our lives.
This is your opportunity to immerse yourself in the ancient practices of yoga and Ayurveda to balance your mind, body, and spirit.
The Ayurveda wellness workshop will be hosted by guest teacher Indie Foolheea, a Yoga and Meditation guide and Ayurvedic therapist based in Brighton.
Indie supports people in reconnect to themselves and their bodies through all the wisdom found in these practices, some of which are ancestral for her.
She offers you the opportunity to reconnect with yourself and embrace the rhythms of nature, all while taking into account your unique life experiences. Through personalised treatments, she utilizes Ayurvedic and holistic therapies, which tap into the mind and energy through the body, tailoring them to your specific needs.
Indie's journey of reclamation led her back to her spiritual roots of Sikhism and ancestral roots in Punjab, India. Finding a place and life’s work in Yoga and Ayurveda.

"I left the retreat feeling rejuvenated and inspired.
The retreat was thoughtfully organised to create a welcoming atmosphere where connections flourished. The African Spirituality workshop was particularly enriching, connecting us to our shared ancestry. I Highly recommend this retreat for anyone seeking rest, reflection and community amongst black women. " Rianna Raymond-Williams |
